November is such a boring month, all inbetween Halloween and Christmas. I say we need something to spice it up a bit. So any ideas, no matter how insane, please apply here.

I, for one, think we should carry out Parvati's plan of having a waterfall running through the school.

WARDED TO PARVATI, DEAN, SEAMUS, ANTHONY AND SU.

Have any of you made holiday plans, yet?
WARDED TO SU.
You were right. I feel much better already. Maybe Anthony should have a chat with her, too.

Hogsmeade: brill.
Halloween party: even more brill.

Mark my words.

People who don't have a costume yet, this is your chance to speak up. I have mine all finished and I have several hours of time to kill left. Of course, if you have other suggestions to how I should spend that time, I am open to hearing those as well.

WARDED TO SU.

You're meeting with this counsellor woman, right?

I got a letter from Juliette today, which was a very nice surprise. She's invited me over for Christmas, which sadly I am not going to be able to manage. Maybe this summer I'll finally be able to visit France, though. It would be a nice opportunity to practice my languages and I've always wanted to see the Ballet de l'Opéra national de Paris.

Back to our old English weather though, I think I'm almost beginning to miss the rain. Aside from yesterday's Quidditch match it has been a pretty dull week.

WARDED TO ANTHONY.

I found a book of random facts for you.

WARDED TO DEAN.
Tell me you are not one of the sad, sad people stuck with their nose in an Arithmancy text.

I have a strange craving for pineapples.

In other news, there is only one correct way to spend (yet another!) rainy day.

It seems the abandoned classroom I normally use for ballet practice has been closed off due to excessive damage. I suppose I will have to use our new Common Room instead. If none of you object, of course.

I may decide to have an impromptu study session this afternoon, if anyone would care to join me. And not just to borrow my History notes, though you are of course welcome to them.

WARDED TO SEAMUS.

Seamus, darling, what are you up to these days?

I had almost forgotten about my epic love-hate relationship with Monday mornings. But waffles at breakfast make everything better.

WARDED TO JASON.

Thank you, again.

WARDED TO STEPHEN.

Thank you for playing my shopping trolley for the day. I had a very good time.

The most interesting thing about working at a law office has to be the different people you get to meet. I was waiting for Peter to take me out to lunch this morning and a woman walked into the lobby wearing a hat that looked like four different animals had been killed in order to make it. I've never seen anything more grotesque. After she was gone Peter told me she was involved in a rather nasty divorce case and has demanded so much money from her cheating husband he is going to have to move back in with his mother.

In other news, I'm sorry I wasn't able to come to Saturday's party. I hope I haven't missed too much.

And now I am going outside, since it has finally stopped raining. I don't think you can ever be too old to splash around in the mud. I have big boots, and I am not afraid to use them.
